Duties
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles such as limousine, shuttle, bus, school bus, or box truck in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service to all passengers, ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and mechanical condition of the vehicle through regular inspections and basic maintenance knowledge.
- Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, including those with special needs or requiring additional assistance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations during operation.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with licensing requirements for specific vehicle types such as driver or school bus driver certifications.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, shuttle driving, delivery driving, or bus driving roles.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with limousine or drivers preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously.
- Ability to operate various vehicle types including school buses, box trucks, and passenger vans.
- Familiarity with local routes and navigation tools for efficient trip planning.
- Physical ability to assist passengers as needed and perform vehicle inspections.
- Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type being operated; certifications such as school bus or limousine license are a plus. This role is vital in providing safe, reliable transportation services while ensuring passenger comfort and satisfaction.
