Esthetician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional facials, skincare treatments, waxing, and other esthetic services according to Bliss Spa and Wellness standards.
• Conduct thorough client consultations to understand skincare concerns, preferences, and treatment goals.
• Assess clients' skin conditions and recommend appropriate treatments and home-care products.
• Provide personalized treatments while ensuring client comfort, safety, and satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and relaxing treatment environment.
• Properly sanitize and prepare treatment rooms, equipment, tools, and supplies before and after each service.
• Follow all applicable health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Educate clients on proper skincare routines and provide recommendations for maintaining results between appointments.
• Recommend appropriate spa services and skincare products based on individual client needs.
• Build positive, professional relationships with clients and encourage repeat visits.
• Maintain accurate client treatment records and document relevant skincare information.
• Manage appointment schedules efficiently and communicate scheduling concerns as needed.
• Stay current with skincare products, treatment techniques, and industry trends.
• Assist with maintaining adequate inventory of skincare products and treatment supplies.
• Work collaboratively with other spa team members to provide a seamless guest experience.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming, and relaxing atmosphere throughout the spa.
• Perform other duties related to spa operations as assigned.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience

• Licensed or certified Esthetician, as required by applicable state regulations.
• 5 years of professional Esthetician experience is preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience in a spa, salon, wellness center, dermatology clinic, or similar environment is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of skincare treatments, products, and sanitation practices.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, and approachable personality.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality services.
• Good time-management and organizational skills.
• Comfortable recommending services and skincare products based on client needs.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
