Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) – On-Call Intake Clinician for substance use detox/residential co occurring inpatient facility. This role requires availability for conducting comprehensive intake assessments at the time of client admission, including evenings and weekends as needed. Turn around time is 24 hours so we need it to be completed within 24 hours of admission no matter what time they come in. Need to be willing to consult and be open for constructive criticism from clinical director. Virtual position. Primary Responsibilities: Complete full Biopsychosocial Assessments within 24 hours of admission. Administer and interpret the following assessments:
PTSD Assessment
Trauma Assessment
PHQ-9 (Patient Health Questionnaire)
GAD-7 (Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale)
BAM (Brief Addiction Monitor)
Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS)
Homicide Risk Assessment
Mental Status Exam (MSE)
Beck Depression Inventory (BDI)
Accurately diagnose mental health and substance use disorders per DSM-5-TR and ASAM criteria
Collaborate and consult with the Clinical Director and Program Director as needed
Ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with all regulatory and program standards
Maintain availability to respond to new client intakes as they arrive
Active LMFT license in the state of [Insert State]
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with mental health and substance use populations
Proficient in clinical assessments, diagnostic formulation, and risk evaluation
Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care and co-occurring disorders
Flexibility to work on-call hours, including weekends and holidays same fee no extra pay on holidays or weekends or after hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in residential or detox settings
Experience working in community mental health. Must have strong writing skills bps needs to be written well and not incomplete
