Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pilates Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pilates and a comprehensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics. As a Pilates Instructor, you will lead engaging classes that promote strength, flexibility, and overall wellness while fostering a supportive environment for all participants.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement effective Pilates programs tailored to various skill levels and fitness goals.
- Conduct group classes and individual sessions, ensuring proper technique and safety for all participants.
- Provide modifications and progressions to accommodate different fitness levels.
- Maintain an engaging atmosphere that encourages participation and motivation among clients.
- Promote health and wellness through education on anatomy knowledge, body mechanics, and overall fitness principles.
- Assist with fitness sales initiatives to attract new clients to the studio.
Requirements
- Certification in Reformer is requirled
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics as they relate to physical fitness.
- Experience in teaching group classes or personal training within a gym or health club setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients.
- A passion for promoting health and wellness within the community.

Blis pilates is a small boutique fitness studio offering personalized instruction with a max class size of 7. We offer training on the reformer, mat, Cadillac/tower, stability chair, and arc barrel.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
