A well-established, mission-driven nonprofit organization in Westchester County is looking for an energetic, resourceful Human Resources Generalist to join its growing HR team.
This is not a sit-behind-the-scenes HR role. You’ll be a trusted resource for employees and managers, helping to recruit great people, solve problems, strengthen the employee experience, and keep a busy HR operation moving.

What You’ll Do
As an HR Generalist, you’ll have exposure to the full employee lifecycle, including:
- Supporting recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
- Serving as a day-to-day HR resource for employees and managers
- Assisting with employee relations matters and workplace concerns
- Supporting performance management, coaching, and corrective action processes
- Coordinating leaves, benefits, and other employee programs
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HRIS data
- Helping ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and organizational requirements
- Supporting HR initiatives, employee engagement, training, and special projects
- Partnering with the HR team to continuously improve processes and the employee experience

A bachelor’s degree and prior Human Resources experience are preferred. Experience in a nonprofit, healthcare, human services, or similarly regulated environment is a plus.
