Job description:OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Payroll & Human Resources Coordinator to support our HR functions and payroll processes. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in human resources management, payroll administration, and employee relations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with employment laws, managing HR data, and supporting management initiatives.ResponsibilitiesManage weekly payroll processing using systems such as ADP, Paychex, or Paycom, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Oversee benefits administration, including health insurance, workers' compensation, and other employee benefits.Facilitate employee orientation programs, performance management processes, and employee evaluation procedures.Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA standards, and FMLA regulations..Handle employee relations issues with effective conflict management and communication skills.Maintain accurate records related to contracts, training & development programs, and workforce management activities.Assist in the administration of leaves of absence, workers' compensation claims, and other HR-related documentation.ExperienceProven experience in human resources management or payroll administration using platforms such as ADP, Paylocity, or Paycom.Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, FMLA policies, and benefits administration.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Effective communication skills for engaging with employees at all levels and managing conflict resolution.Prior administrative experience supporting HR functions such as data collection, data entry, interviewing, and onboarding processes is desirable.
