Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Core business is structural (beams, columns, angles, channels...etc.) and plate work.
  • Fit up various plate/structural weldments prior to welding.
  • Read complicated shop drawings and fit up the steel for a welder to complete.
  • Lay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts of structural metal products.
  • Performs related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 5 years fitting experience in heavy plate and/or structural work.
  • Must have own tools.
