- Onsite role*
- Partner with management, business owners, and end users to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, objectives, and processes.
- Facilitate meetings, interviews, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions to ensure shared understanding and alignment across all stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into clear and concise functional specifications, user stories, workflows, and system documentation.
- Evaluate existing processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements leveraging analytical and problem-solving methodologies.
- Support the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements management, validation, testing support, change management, and rollout activities.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, UX designers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood, feasible, and delivered with high quality.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify potential solutions and provide recommendations based on evidence, feasibility, and business impact.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including requirements, specifications, status updates, issues, and change requests.
- Ensure effective communication among stakeholders and act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams.
- Manage workload across multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Apply sound judgment to distinguish between expressed user requests and true underlying needs.
- Support organizational change management efforts related to new systems, enhancements, and process transformations.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis or requirements management for a system or product (experience requirements may vary depending on organizational needs).
Technical & Business Knowledge
- Strong understanding of business analysis principles, methods, and best practices.
- Proficiency in business process mapping and translating processes into functional and user requirements.
- Working knowledge of business processes, systems development practices, process improvement methodologies, and change management.
- Experience with the full SDLC, Knowledge Management systems, project management concepts, and user experience design is preferred.
- Exceptional written communication abilities with the capacity to produce clear, structured, and thorough documentation across requirements, specifications, issues, and status updates.
- Ability to lead meetings, interviews, workshops, and cross-functional discussions to elicit and validate requirements.
- Strong collaboration skills to maintain alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with management, business users, and technical teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex business needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
- Ability to use design thinking or similar frameworks to guide stakeholders to desired outcomes.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
- Able to provide accurate time estimates and deliver high-quality results in a timely manner.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in requirements and alignment with business needs.
- Ability to evaluate information from multiple sources and differentiate between user requests and underlying needs.
