Position Summary
The Electrical Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating crews in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on commercial, industrial, and residential projects. This role ensures that work is performed safely, on time, and in compliance with project specifications, codes, and company standards. The Foreman provides leadership, training, and accountability for electricians and apprentices on site.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise electrical crews, assigning daily tasks and monitoring productivity.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to plan installations.

Oversee installation of electrical systems including panels, conduit, wiring, fixtures, and equipment.

Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, OSHA standards, and Bleuwave safety policies.

Conduct inspections of completed work to verify accuracy, quality, and code compliance.

Train and mentor apprentices and journeyman electricians.

Coordinate workflow with project managers, superintendents, and other trades.

Track and order materials, tools, and equipment as needed.

Complete daily job reports, timekeeping, and project documentation.

Troubleshoot electrical systems and provide solutions to field challenges.
Qualifications

5 years of electrical experience with at least 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of NEC codes, electrical theory, and installation practices.

Proven ability to lead and motivate crews effectively.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.

OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.

Journeyman or Master Electrician license (preferred depending on jurisdiction).

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Must be able to lift 75 lbs., work at heights, and perform physical labor in various environments.
