This position is responsible for providing department specific clerical assistance. Duties include specific computerized reports, daily preparation of paperwork, form completion, data entry, maintaining accurate account information, performing patient registration, scheduling patient appointments, order entry, processing mail, maintaining reception area, and any other clerical duties as assigned.
This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE OR EQUIVALENT
- EXCELLENT WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- SOME COLLEGE PREFERRED
- MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS CLERICAL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
- EXCELLENT TYPING SKILLS EXPERIENCE WITH MICROSOFT WORD AND OTHER OFFICE SOFTWARE PREFERRED.
