What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Science Teacher position at Blessed Sacrament School?
Blessed Sacrament School is seeking a full or part-time middle school science teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. In a full-time position, the middle school science teacher is responsible for teaching science to grades 6-8 (one class per grade) as well as literature to 8th grade and homeroom teacher responsibilties. Ideal candidates have a deep devotion to the Catholic faith, strong classroom management skills, practice communicating with parents, and an understanding of the developmental level of middle schoolers. Applicants must submit a completed application to the Diocese of Arlington and be certified to teach in Virginia (or working toward certification).
