Overview
Blessed Sacrament School is seeking teachers for several elementary grades for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves collaborating with other faculty and staff to engage with young learners, implement effective lesson plans, and utilize learning technology to enhance educational experiences. The teacher will work collaboratively with staff to support the academic and social growth of each child.
Responsibilities
- Accept the mission of the school as articulated at the Diocesan and school levels.
- Implement the school's educational mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives.
- Collaborate with other faculty and staff.
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Teaching License
- Employment is contingent upon the applicant passing criminal background (Diocesan) and reference checks.
- Must complete Diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training before the start date.
Preferred Qualifications
- NC teaching license or equivalent from another state
