We serve deliciously handcrafted smash burgers from fresh, never frozen beef, ground this week, from the Classic to a rotating Seasonal Special. That s not all. We also serve Nathan s 100% beef hotdogs, Fried Chicken Tenders or Sandwich, Perfectly crispy fries, Milkshakes, Beer & more that elevate the entire experience. We are a hospitality and chef driven counter service / fast casual model.
We are a small but mighty team that is looking for it s next Store Manager to take the helm!
Schedule: 5 days a week to include nights & weekends
Location: Bless Your Heart Burgers - Vancouver, WA
Hours Per Week: 40 ; (Average 45 hrs per week)
Pay: $25 - $30 / HR; Non-Exempt (Annualized Pay Approximation: $61,750 - $74,100)
The Store Manager is the operational heart of the restaurant, the primary keeper of our culture and owns day-to-day operations across people, product, and service. They are the primary communication bridge between the frontline team and company leadership advocating for both equally and often. They are expected to be experts of every position/station in the restaurant; training & directing the work to be completed from production to prep to cleaning routines; identifying bottlenecks & opportunities for improvement; and coaching our team toward consistent, excellent execution, always. Speed, quality, and warmth are not trade-offs; this manager delivers all three, every shift.
Key Responsibilities

Creates a positive learning environment where team members feel safe asking questions, taking on new challenges, and seeking support.

Demonstrates mastery of all service, prep, and production stations; coaches and trains across all areas on an ongoing basis.

Builds, monitors, and adjusts team member training plans to ensure an effective path to shift readiness

Ensures all team members are aware of, and consistently following, store routines and SOPs; initiates retraining moments as needed.

Directs production and prep planning; ensures pars and volumes align with daily and seasonal demand to minimize waste and maximize freshness.

Monitors execution of the daily plan, identifies gaps, and makes adjustments to maintain an efficient, hospitable operation.

Conducts regular product quality audits; provides in-the-moment coaching to drive consistency and celebrate excellence.

Observes & Participates in service flow and the guest experience to identify bottlenecks; develops and implements improvement plans with training as needed.

Supports supervisors' development as shift leaders through regular feedback and accountability to performance standards and company values.
Additionally you have:

Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams in a similar restaurant or hospitality management role (2 years preferred)

Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities with strong follow-through

Professional, clear communication skills; proven ability to coach, give feedback, and resolve conflict collaboratively

Proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering results under pressure

Must have a valid Washington Food Worker Card, or obtain one upon hire

Must have MAST Class 12 Permit (WA), or obtain one upon hire (we currently serve liquor and have plans to move away from this in the coming 90 days.)

Food Safety Manager Certification (ServSafe or equivalent as approved by WA State) required within 90 days of hire

Working knowledge of restaurant POS systems, workforce management platforms, and third-party delivery platforms preferred; What we use: Toast (POS), Teamwork by SpotOn (Scheduling), Paylocity, Google Workspace, and DoorDash
- Familiarity with fast-casual or counter-service operational models strongly preferred

A few practical things before you apply:
Work Environment: So you know what to expect physically: near continuous standing, walking, bending, reaching, and talking. Frequent lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling up to 25 lbs with/without assistance, occasionally 50-100 lbs with assistance. Standing continuously up to 12 hours a day. Moderate to high noise level.
