Non Emergency Medical Transport Drivers Bless A Rider LLC. -
Non-Emergency Medical Drivers (NEMT) transport clients to and from medical appointments and various venues.
Responsibilities are assisting client, securing wheel chair clients and keeping accurate logs electronically on your smartphone systematically. Clearly communicate with dispatchers and have a good geographic knowledge of the Eastern part of North Carolina, as well as operating in Google Maps.
Applicants must have 2 years of documented driving experience
- All applicants must be at least 25 years of age
- Must be able to drive a Van with Wheel Chair Lift / paid training after obtaining the job and signing of driver contract
- Drivers should be able drive a 12 passenger mini bus for shuttle services
- Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI's and No Suspensions
- Hiring is dependent on passing a C.O.R.I., drug screen, and pre-employment physical
- Must be able to assist participants, some heavy lifting may be required
- Must be flexible with schedule in relation to business needs AM and PM shifts available
- Must be able to effectively and clearly communicate with customers and dispatchers
- Bilingual is a plus, but must speak, read and write English clearly
- Must adhere to dress code to include uniform provided
