Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Data Scientist to join us as a contractor with the potential to be hired full time. You’ll work on end-to-end data science initiatives, with opportunities to design and implement cutting-edge solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models for Rx procurement and refill planning.
- Lead projects involving time-series forecasting, optimization, and reinforcement learning for large-scale healthcare operations.
- Apply expertise in Python, Databricks, Vertex AI, Snowflake, and SQL to build scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into data-driven solutions.
- Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or related field.
- 2 years of hands-on experience in applied machine learning and advanced analytics.
- Strong background in time-series modeling, optimization, and reinforcement learning.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Databricks, and Snowflake; experience with Vertex AI or equivalent cloud ML platforms is a plus.
- Solid understanding of healthcare or pharmaceutical supply chain processes preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
