What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk position at BLC Consulting, LLC?
We are currently looking for an Accounting Assoicate for our corporate office in New Orleans. This position would be responsible for answering phones, ordering supplies and assisting the accounting department. This is a full time position with 100% medical paid, PTO, dental, vision and 401k matching.
Duties including but not limited to:
· Answer phones
· Assist the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable departments
· Order approved office supplies
· Receipt and distribution of mail and packages
· Scanning / Labeling / Uploading Documents into Database
· Ability to stay on task and meet daily/weekly deadlines
Job requirements:
· At least one year of Accounting assistant experience in a corporate setting highly desired
· Ability to pick up tasks quickly, computer literate and work with little supervision is required
· Attention to detail is very important (will be working with numerous properties and scanning / uploading and labeling MUST be accurate
· Microsoft Office required (Outlook, Word, Excel)
· Good attendance and punctuality required
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
