Concrete Estimator/Project Manager (Residential/Commercial)

Job Title:
Construction Concrete Estimator / Project Manager
Responsibilities:
1. Estimating of Commercial, Residential, Multi-Family, Podium, Site, and Retail Concrete applications.
2. Develop new clients while servicing existing client base.
3. Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process.
4. Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish accurate cost estimates.
Essential Functions:
1. Prepare detailed estimates for new projects
2. Submit proposals in response to bid requests
3. Generate change orders
4. Ensure projects are billed accurately and on schedule
The ideal candidate will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of a project and evaluating the cost to take on that project. The candidate will be familiar with our competitive advantages as an organization and will be able to communicate those to our benefit throughout the bidding process.
Job Qualifications:
1. Minimum 2 years of related industry experience
2. Proficiency in with MS Excel, PlanSwift, or other digital takeoff software
3. Strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management
4. Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read plans.
