Job Summary
We are seeking WILLING WORKERS who are dedicated and passionate for Child Care to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for developing age-appropriate lesson plans, engaging with children in meaningful ways, and fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Manage classroom activities effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Educate children on basic life skills, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's development and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that respects diversity among students.
Experience
- Previous experience in child care settings such as preschool, nannying, or babysitting is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills to create an orderly environment conducive to learning.
- Experience working with children of various age groups, particularly infants and toddlers.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Certification in First Aid/CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is required.
