Job Summary
Blazing Hope Ranch is seeking a compassionate and dependable Full-Time Mentor to support adult female survivors of human trafficking in our residential program. This position provides trauma-informed guidance, accountability, and practical support as residents develop healthy routines, life skills, and greater independence.
Responsibilities
- Build safe, professional, and supportive relationships with residents.
- Provide trauma-informed encouragement, guidance, and accountability.
- Support residents with daily routines, household responsibilities, life skills, and program goals.
- Facilitate house meetings, groups, recreational activities, and community outings.
- Transport residents to appointments, work, shopping, and approved activities.
- Administer and document medications according to BHR procedures.
- Complete required shift notes, medication records, and incident reports.
- Respond appropriately to conflicts, emotional distress, and crisis situations.
- Assist with household organization and other ongoing program needs.
- Attend team meetings, training, and required program activities.
Requirements
- Compassionate, dependable, organized, and able to maintain professional boundaries.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting individuals impacted by trauma or other vulnerable populations is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent and willingness to complete required training.
Pay: From $15.50 per hour
