Join us in building this new branch of retail from the ground up and shaping what the next chapter of Blazing Bagels looks like.Position OverviewThe Retail Director will oversee day-to-day operations for Blazing Bagels’ new Express retail concept. The Express stores bring a smaller, faster-paced versions of our full-service stores. This role is responsible for launching and leading three locations across the Puget Sound region, each staffed with approximately seven team members. The Retail Director ensures operational consistency, exceptional guest experiences, and strong team culture at every site.This position requires a hands-on leader who is comfortable dividing their time across multiple locations, mentoring store leads, and driving performance through structure, communication, and accountability.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipLead the successful launch and ongoing operations management of multiple Express retail locations.Develop and maintain operational standards, ensuring efficiency and brand consistency.Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce waste, and optimize staffing models.Collaborate with the COO and other department directors to refine the Express store playbook and scaling strategy.Manager Development & OversightDirectly supervise Store Leads and team members at each Express location.Conduct regular site visits to coach, assess, and support team performance.Foster a positive, growth-minded culture that reflects Blazing Bagels’ values.Provide feedback and development plans to help Store Leads grow into future leadership roles.Operational ExecutionEnsure product quality, service standards, and cleanliness expectations are consistently met.Oversee scheduling, inventory management, and daily reporting for each site.Support hiring, onboarding, and retention across all locations.Monitor sales performance, identify trends, and suggest improvements.
