Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including counters, utensils, equipment, and storage spaces, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, payments, and cashiering duties with accuracy.
- Assist with food service duties including bussing tables, serving customers, and supporting front-of-house operations as needed.
- Manage time efficiently during busy shifts to ensure timely food preparation and service delivery.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for sales totals.
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring food safety standards throughout the shift.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or working within a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing.
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices, food safety protocols, and proper kitchen hygiene.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to upsell menu items confidently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling.
