Make a difference in the lives of students as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting learners in an engaging school environment near Auburn, WA. This contracted, part-time role is onsite only—perfect for professionals passionate about direct student impact.
You’ll work roughly 15 hours per week from August 26, 2026, to June 16, 2027, serving a caseload of approximately eight students. Your support will ensure students receive the optimum mix of weekly, monthly, or quarterly service minutes totaling about 15 hours weekly.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
- Successful fingerprint clearance through OSPI prior to start
- Experience with a diverse range of visual impairments and adaptive strategies in educational settings
- Strong communication, advocacy, and collaboration abilities
- Committed to working exclusively onsite with students
