This opportunity is for two paraprofessionals to support Early Childhood programs within a school district located in Northbrook, IL. These are contract positions lasting through June 8, 2026, offering 32.5 hours per week on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers by assisting students with daily learning activities and instructional support
- Provide individualized attention to students requiring additional help, focusing on early childhood education
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with classroom management and student supervision throughout the school day
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Paraprofessional (IEIN) certification issued by ISBE is required
- Experience working with young children, preferably in early childhood settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Ability to carry out assigned instructional and behavioral interventions
