Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students during a key maternity leave coverage period this upcoming school year. This is a contract opportunity focused on providing high-quality speech and language services in a collaborative school setting. The upcoming assignment is fully onsite and runs from August 17, 2026, to November 9, 2026, with weekday hours of 9:00am – 4:40pm.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license required for Missouri
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in school-based settings highly valued
- Familiarity with resource-level caseloads at the elementary level a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students at the resource level
- Administer assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff to integrate therapy into the academic environment
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation aligned with school and state protocols
- Participate in planning meetings and provide input for student success plans
