Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Columbia, South Carolina
BlazerJobs is partnering with a local school district in Columbia, South Carolina to hire a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year. Position Details
- Location: Columbia, SC
- Schedule: Full-Time, School-Based Position
- Contract Type: Ongoing with renewal opportunities
- Starting Pay: $44/hour
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Support students with a variety of communication needs, including articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active South Carolina SLP license (or eligibility)
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred (CFs may be considered)
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
