Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A K-12 educational facility in Kenner, LA is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services throughout the school year under a contract role. This position offers the opportunity to support students communication development within a dynamic school environment.Key Responsibilities:Conduct speech, language, and hearing assessments to identify student needs.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student.Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in compliance with school policies.Participate in eligibility meetings and contribute to students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).Qualifications and Experience:Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Experience working within a K-12 school setting preferred.Strong knowledge of speech and language developmental milestones.Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of communication disorders.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.Familiarity with educational regulations and special education processes.Location:Kenner, LouisianaThis contract position spans the complete school year, allowing for focused engagement with students throughout their academic calendar.
