Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to join our team. This full-time position involves providing interpreting services to support communication between students who are deaf or hard of hearing, their peers, and school staff to ensure equal access to education.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide interpreting services for students in classroom and school-related settings
Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and staff
Support students educational goals by accurately conveying spoken and signed information
Collaborate with educators and other support staff to meet student needs
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
Previous experience working in educational settings preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students
