A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Interpreter and Braillist to provide specialized support in an educational setting located in Denver, Colorado. This role focuses on delivering in-person services to students requiring Braille materials and support. The assignment is expected to start immediately and continue through May 27, 2026.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload with a strong emphasis on developing Braille materials, as well as potentially assisting with Braille instruction. This is an onsite position with an expected schedule of 35 hours per week. The role serves as a backfill to maintain continuity of support for the student population.
Key qualifications for this position include:
- Active Specialist in Low-Incidence (SLI) certification or license in Colorado
- Proven experience interpreting and creating Braille materials for educational purposes
- Ability to work effectively within a school environment and interact professionally with staff and students
- Commitment to onsite presence in Commerce City, CO, with an in-person caseload focus
