School Behavior Specialist - Everett, WA

Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Support a 2nd grade student with specialized 1:1 behavioral support in an elementary school setting in Everett, WA. The role focuses on providing positive behavioral interventions under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This full-time contract position runs through June 16, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized behavior support plans for a student with significant behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate closely with the supervising BCBA to receive ongoing training and guidance.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of interventions, progress, and observations.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the students success.
• Participate in team meetings and communication with school staff and families as needed.

Qualifications:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
• Fingerprinting clearance through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) mandatory.
• Experience working with elementary-aged children and behavior management strategies preferred.
• Ability to engage effectively with young students who present with challenging behaviors.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to professional development.

Location and Schedule:

• Elementary school setting, M-F, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
• Everett, WA, with work primarily at Cascade View Elementary.
• Contract duration: School Year (CSY), starting ASAP through June 16, 2026.
