Support a 2nd grade student with specialized 1:1 behavioral support in an elementary school setting in Everett, WA. The role focuses on providing positive behavioral interventions under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This full-time contract position runs through June 16, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior support plans for a student with significant behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate closely with the supervising BCBA to receive ongoing training and guidance.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of interventions, progress, and observations.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the students success.
- Participate in team meetings and communication with school staff and families as needed.
Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
- Fingerprinting clearance through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) mandatory.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children and behavior management strategies preferred.
- Ability to engage effectively with young students who present with challenging behaviors.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to professional development.
Location and Schedule:
- Elementary school setting, M-F, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Everett, WA, with work primarily at Cascade View Elementary.
