Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary and middle school students for the 2026-2027 academic year in a school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) contract role. This assignment runs from August 2026 through June 2027 and centers on working with students in grades 3-5 as well as those at the middle school level. Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted speech and language therapy to students in grades 3-5 and middle school
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families
- Conduct assessments, evaluate progress, and document treatment outcomes in compliance with school and district standards
- Deliver direct and consultative services that foster student growth in classrooms and small group settings
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings, offering expertise in best practices for supporting student communication
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- Active SLP license/certification (CCC-SLP required) in New Hampshire or eligibility to obtain
- Prior school-based experience with elementary and/or middle school populations preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Flexibility for either full-time (35-37.5 hours/week) or part-time schedules
