The assignment is scheduled from August 11th, 2026, through June 4th, 2027, with a commitment of 37.5 onsite hours per week. You’ll be joining a supportive and forward-thinking team, providing essential speech and language services and gaining further details on your specific caseload upon placement.
What We’re Looking For:
- Holders of a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Valid credentials to practice as a school-based SLP in California
- Prior experience in academic settings preferred, but passionate new graduates will also be considered
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Adaptability and commitment to serving diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy and support to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with educators, school staff, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
