This full-time, onsite assignment offers you the chance to make an impact during a 12-week maternity leave coverage at schools with vibrant learning communities. The focus is on elementary settings, serving children from preschool through fifth grade, including classrooms with high populations of students with Autism. You’ll be collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, helping to shape communication success for students who need your expertise the most.
Ideal candidates will bring clinical competence with the SLP-CCC credential; clinical fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply if they can arrange their own supervision, as district provision is not available. These roles are strictly for licensed SLPs—SLPA applicants will not be considered.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active New Jersey SLP License
- Valid NJ SLS Certification
- SLP-CCC highly preferred, but clinical fellows accepted with independent supervision
- Experience with elementary-age children and Autism spectrum populations highly valued
- Ability to work onsite for the full duration of the assignment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evaluations, direct therapy, and consultation for students in grades K-5
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual needs
- Collaborate closely with teaching and support staff for integrated service delivery
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation and timely data management
