School-Based Physical Therapist - Oakland, California

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Located near Oakland, this on-site position extends through June 4, 2027, with a flexible weekly commitment between 10-12 hours.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in California
• Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
• Confident delivering therapy services and evaluating progress for students with varying needs
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently within a team-centered environment
• No educator credential required

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to elementary students in accordance with IEPs and district guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement treatment plans promoting student participation and success
• Conduct assessments to evaluate motor skills, mobility, and physical needs of students
• Document services and progress notes in compliance with district and state requirements
• Participate in team meetings as needed to review student progress and update goals
• Maintain all licensing and professional requirements throughout the assignment
