Registered Behavior Technician in Kent, WA

Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Active RBT credential in good standing
• Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in an educational or therapeutic setting
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Ability to follow behavior intervention plans with consistency and professionalism
• Skilled at written documentation and data collection
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with students, peers, and supervisors
• Adaptability and patience in fast-paced or changing environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct one-on-one or group behavioral interventions in classroom or school settings
• Assist with the implementation of ABA-based strategies to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors
• Collect and accurately record data on student performance and behavior
• Communicate student progress and observations to supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and educational staff
• Participate in regular training sessions, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
• Support a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students
