The role is located in Redmond, WA, within the school environment and offered as a contract position.Responsibilities include:Reporting to the alternative school each morning at 8:15 a.m.Providing dedicated support to a designated 1:1 student, primarily during scheduled hours.Assisting with student inclusion and support in other schools when the assigned student is absent.Maintaining engagement and adapting to the needs and schedules of the students served.Collaborating with school staff to foster a supportive learning environment.Qualifications and experience desired:Previous experience as a paraprofessional or similar role in a school setting.Ability to work full-time hours, approximately 32.5 hours per week, with a consistent schedule.Flexibility to cover additional hours or shifts, including Fridays, if available.Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Commitment to supporting diverse learner needs in an alternative education environment.Schedule details:Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.Wednesday: 8:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.Potential for extra hours and Friday shifts based on availability.This opportunity begins as soon as onboarding is completed and continues through June 11, 2026.
