Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized instruction based on students' learning needs and IEP goals.
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate educational documentation.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, families, and related service providers.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning and progress reviews.
- Foster a supportive, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related qualifying field.
- Appropriate active teaching certification or licensure for the assigned position.
- Knowledge of IEP development, specialized instruction, and student progress monitoring.
- Experience supporting students with disabilities in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
