Duties
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract diverse players through campus outreach, social media campaigns, and community events
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including screening applications, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding activities
- Build strong relationships with educational institutions, sports clubs, and volunteer organizations to facilitate campus recruitment efforts
- Utilize Salesforce and Raiser's Edge customer relationship management tools to track applicant data, monitor recruitment progress, and generate reports
- Lead training and development sessions for new recruits and volunteer staff to ensure they are well-prepared for their roles
- Oversee volunteer management programs by coordinating schedules, providing supervision, and recognizing outstanding contributions
- Represent the organization at public speaking engagements, community events, and social media platforms to promote our mission and recruit new talent
Requirements
- Proven experience in recruiting, management, or related roles within sports or social organizations
- Strong supervisory skills with experience overseeing teams or volunteers in fast-paced environments
- Excellent public speaking abilities with a confident presence at events and presentations
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Raiser's Edge for data management and reporting purposes
- Demonstrated success in campus recruitment initiatives and social media management strategies
- Background in social work or community engagement is highly desirable
- Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate others and foster a collaborative team environment
