Blaze Equipment, an Owen Company, is looking to hire a highly motivated, independent, and professional individual to join our team in Fort Worth, TX as a Yardman.  Blaze is an industry leader in the sales, service and rental of foundational drill rigs and related accessories serving North America from our location in Fort Worth, TX.  Blaze is the official North America dealer for HPM, a market-leading manufacturer of foundation drill rigs.  Our products are utilized in major construction projects for critical infrastructure including highway construction, bridge construction, electrical grid infrastructure and major industrial construction projects.  We work with leading construction, utility, and oil field contractors across the United States to help build the next generation of critical infrastructure in the United States.

Salary: $15.00 - $20.00 an hour depending on experience.

As a Yardman, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for outdoor spaces, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and visually appealing. Key duties include:

• Lawn Care

  • Mow, trim, and edge lawns to maintain a neat appearance.

  • Apply proper mowing techniques for different grass types to promote healthy growth.

• Debris Removal

  • Clear leaves, litter, and other debris from outdoor areas.

  • Use tools such as rakes, sweepers, and blowers to keep spaces clean and safe.

• Equipment Operation & Maintenance

  • Operate landscaping equipment including lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers.

  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure tools remain in good working condition.

• Inventory Management

  • Organize and store materials, tools, and supplies properly.

  • Assist with tracking inventory to ensure items are readily available.

• Safety Compliance

  • Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear.

  • Maintain awareness of safe practices while performing physical tasks.

• Logistics Support

  • Assist with preparing, loading, and unloading materials for shipment or delivery.

  • Safely handle heavy objects and equipment during transport.

• General Yard Maintenance

  • Conduct routine upkeep of outdoor spaces and equipment.

  • Ensure tools and machinery are clean and functional.

• Customer Service

  • Interact with clients and the public in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Provide assistance and maintain a positive demeanor.

• Physical Labor

  • Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, carrying, and working outdoors.

  • Adapt to varying weather conditions while completing assignments.
