Description
Role: This position manages network infrastructure operations, ensuring that the team is in compliance with all Blaze policies and procedures.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure stability of network infrastructure and plan for growth.
- Contribute to development of short and long-term infrastructure roadmap.
- Support implementation of business-driven projects with appropriate technology solutions.
- Implement and manage processes and controls that assure maximum uptime, continual improvement, and quick service for both on-prem and Cloud workloads.
- Manage expenses for network technology, hardware, and software.
- Administration and maintenance of on-premises and cloud network systems
- Work with leadership to develop budget plans for infrastructure fixed assets and maintenance.
- Manage third party vendor relationships and hold them accountable for delivery of outsourced functions including negotiating and management of contracts with key service providers to ensure service levels are met.
Managing all aspects of the network operations and providing 24/7 support:
- Connectivity, performance, and configurations
- Preventative maintenance through software patches and releases
- Equipment installation
- Systems monitoring
- Timely outage resolution, troubleshooting for alarm conditions and escalation processes
- Defining the process for change management and incident management
- Leading the process of root cause analysis
Manage inventory and distribution of network hardware and software for:
- Infrastructure including servers, data and voice networks, security devices and appropriate software.
- Desktops including workstations, phones, printers and peripherals, and appropriate software.
Other Duties
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control

Requirements
Experience/Education/Certifications/Licenses
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred or relative experience
- Minimum 7 to 8 years of IT Networking experience or equivalent
Demonstrated Knowledge
- Knowledge of Cisco networking, SAN, hardware, server, and cloud infrastructure required
- Advanced IT Network troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lead and mentor employees
Communication Skills
Ability to develop and implement responses to members/staff to document and develop new and ongoing techniques to improve processes; written communications draw from expert information from the field whether as an individual contributor or manager
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit and stand; answer calls; operate computer; interact with internal staff and public on the phone; travel to designated offices; lift up to 40 lbs; Must be willing to work flexible hours to accommodate the changing needs of the credit union. Will periodically include night and weekend hours.

We are committed to providing salary ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations.
The salary range for this position is: $110,000 - $140,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for this position. We have other benefits associated with this position which include: low-cost medical (as low as $20 a paycheck), dental insurance, vision insurance, quarterly bonuses, generous vacation and sick time hours, paid leave options, up to 6% 401k contribution, and tuition reimbursement.
