The role

We're looking for a world-class Head of Marketing to own growth and marketing end-to-end at Blaxel — demand gen, brand, content, PLG-ops, analytics, and automation. You'll move fast, test often, and build the foundation for scalable growth in a new category of cloud computing.

This is a hands-on role today with the path to lead the function tomorrow. We need someone who thinks like a mini-founder, wears many marketing hats, and earns the right to hire under them by proving channels first.

What you'll do

Working with cofounders and leveraging AI as much as possible, you'll build the marketing function from the ground up — across demand gen, brand, content, and PLG

  • Launch and iterate on paid and organic campaigns to hit our lead goals.
  • Sharpen brand, positioning, and messaging with the founders: what we say, who we say it to, and how it shows up across the funnel.
  • Build ICP lead lists and execute multi-channel outreach, mixing manual personalization plus AI scale.
  • Own analytics and attribution. Rigorously track what works, double down on it, kill what doesn't.
  • Own the PLG funnel (landing pages, signup, activation). Run experiments, find leaks, lift conversion.
  • Ship distribution plays beyond the funnel: community, dev events, GEO (generative engine optimization), PR.

Who you are

  • Player-coach. Today you'll roll up your sleeves and execute. Tomorrow you build the team under you. You don't hire before you do the work.
  • A generalist athlete. You've owned multiple marketing functions at a startup: content, demand gen, positioning, comms, ops.
  • Proven recent experience driving measurable growth at a cloud / platform / AI / ML / infrastructure company selling to developers, ideally in earlier stages.
  • Execution machine. Bias for action, experimentation, and rapid iteration. You thrive on a high-velocity, results-oriented team.
  • Deeply AI fluent. You use AI as a force multiplier on real marketing knowledge, not a substitute for it. You can explain why something works, not just what an LLM said about it.
  • Data-driven. Proficient with analytics, attribution, and using performance data to drive decisions.

Compensation Range: $140K - $230K
