Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Engineer role based in Avon, MN. The Field Engineer supports construction and renewable energy projects by assisting with site layout, field engineering tasks, and technical problem-solving. Daily responsibilities include collecting and analyzing field data, supporting equipment installation, and coordinating with construction crews, project managers, and vendors to resolve issues. The role also involves preparing and updating drawings and documentation, verifying adherence to project specifications and safety standards, and assisting with quality checks and field reports. The Field Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to keep projects on schedule, manage changes, and support successful project delivery.

Qualifications
- Strong field-focused capabilities, including Field Service and on-site Technical Support skills to assist crews and maintain project continuity.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and problem-solving to diagnose and resolve technical and operational issues in the field.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Experience or foundational knowledge in Project Management to help track progress, manage priorities, and support project documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, surveying tools, and basic engineering principles.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Ability to work on-site in varying weather conditions, travel to project locations as needed, and adapt to changing project demands.
