The Blatt Group is a family-owned general contractor serving Berks County for more than 35 years. We are hiring a Skilled Construction Laborer for commercial construction and renovation projects in the Reading area. Bring your jobsite experience, work safely, and help a dependable local crew get the job done right.
Pay: $55,000–$70,000 per year, based on experience and skills.
Job type: Full-time | Work location: In person, Reading, PA area
What you will do
- Prepare and protect work areas and stage materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with commercial carpentry, selective demolition, concrete work, and site preparation.
- Use common hand and power tools safely and follow the crew leader’s direction.
- Keep work areas organized and handle jobsite cleanup and material removal.
- Communicate with the crew, take ownership of assigned tasks, and pay attention to quality.

- Hands-on construction experience and familiarity with active jobsites.
- Ability to use common hand and power tools safely.
- Ability to perform physical construction work indoors and outdoors.
- Dependable attendance, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to support different trades and learn new skills.
