Job Summary
This role involves managing key accounts, developing innovative marketing strategies, and leveraging technology tools to optimize sales performance. The Sales Manager will play a critical role in expanding our customer base, fostering client relationships, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Duties
1. Serves as main point of contact for all customers.
2. Serves as main general technical contact for all customers.
3. Establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
4. Uses market knowledge and customer relationships to develop products for Blatek. Defines pricing, estimates profitability, coordinates engineering development efforts and interfaces with subcontractors. Negotiates component pricing and guides engineering advancements to improve product performance, quality, and profitability.
5. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to Management Team.
6. Works closely with Production Manager on providing weekly status reports, prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends. (Shipment Dollars, Forecasts, Loses Backlogs, etc.)
7. Resolves conflict.
8. Guides priorities within specialty manufacturing/engineering.
9. Submits orders by creating price listing, by comparing prices with similar product pricing and comparable market value.
10. Provides status updates on new products and opportunities.
11. Leads customer tours of the facility and leads team efforts for trade show and outside events.
12. Leads administrative efforts in establishing new products and guides engineering to accurately understand specifications of new products.
13. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
14. Maintains a safe working environment by following safety rule regulations.
15. Makes recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations and sales to ensure execution of initiatives of the management team.

Experience
Required: [4] year college/university education in [Engineering], or equivalent experience
Preferred: MBA degree, or equivalent experience
Required: Must have [10] years of [Technical Sales] experience
Required: Broad strong knowledge of technical skills
Preferred: Experience with building/designing ultrasound transducers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
