Responsibilities
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and exterior facades using professional tools and techniques to achieve a streak-free finish.
- Operate specialized equipment such as scissor lifts and extension poles to access high or hard-to-reach areas safely
- Prepare work areas by setting up safety barriers, cleaning supplies, and equipment before starting each job
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of harnesses, ladders, and personal protective gear during elevated work
- Perform routine janitorial and custodial tasks around work sites to ensure overall cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
- Inspect windows for damage or defects and report issues promptly to supervisors for repairs or maintenance
- Maintain detailed records of completed jobs, safety inspections, and equipment usage
Experience
- Prior experience in residential and commercial window cleaning is highly desirable
- Experience operating scissor lifts or other elevated work platforms is a strong plus
- Knowledge of safety practices related to working at heights and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Thorough knowledge of traditional squeegee methods as well as water-fed poles
Requirements
- Must be able to lift and move 50-100 pounds
- Efficiently and safely use a 24 foot stackable ladder and other ladders varying in length up to 32 feet
- Must be able to navigate all interior residential spaces with ease, including tight spaces
- Clean driving record with reliable transportation
- Bi-lingual is a plus (Spanish & English)
Blastmasters has offered window cleaning services for many years to select clients. We are looking to further expand our operation and team. Future growth opportunities will arise as the business grows. This is a part time, seasonal opportunity until the business allows for additional hours and permanent employment. Additional hours may be found in pressure washing due to seasonal demand.
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5.0 – 20.0 per week
