Hydraulic Systems Machine Assembler

If you can read a blueprint like a roadmap, handle an overhead crane with confidence, and bring together fabricated and machined parts into reliable machines, this role—working with the Assembly Manager—was made for you.

What you’ll tackle

• Own assemblies from small components to full-scale machinery.
• Independently rig and load trucks using overhead cranes.
• Decode schematics and blueprints to drive each step of the build.
• Choose the right tools and equipment to meet the production schedule.
• Run final inspections and release only quality-approved work.
• Complete your monthly safety training and lead by example on the floor.
• Partner with internal teams and external customers; jump in to provide backup when needed.
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
• Welding experience is helpful—not mandatory.
• Help advance BCT’s Culture and Core Values.

What you bring to the bench

• Mechanical strength in assembling fabricated/machined components.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Detail orientation, thoroughness, problem-solving, decisive action, and follow-through.
• Solid math: add, subtract, multiply, divide, and convert between metric and imperial.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and curiosity to keep learning.

Your background

• Overhead crane experience—required.
• 3 years in manufacturing or a closely related environment—required.
• Heavy industrial machine assembly—preferred.
• Hydraulics experience—plus.
