Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Loader/Unloader to join our dynamic warehouse team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading goods, ensuring the safe handling of materials, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Duties
- Safely load and unload shipments using various material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for accurate order picking, shipping, and receiving processes
- Assist with inventory management by organizing stock, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring proper storage of materials
- Use manual handling techniques to move heavy or bulky items while adhering to OSHA safety protocols
- Support order picking activities with
pickers or other order fulfillment tools to ensure timely dispatch of goods - Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following safety standards and warehouse procedures
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate loading/unloading schedules and optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, distribution, or related roles with familiarity in inventory management systems
- Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, crane, or material handling machinery (certification preferred)
- Strong understanding of safety protocols including OSHA standards and mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks consistently throughout shifts
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and order accuracy
- Experience with shipping & receiving processes and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Construction or industrial experience is a plus; familiarity with OSHA regulations is highly valued
