Loader Operator and Yard Crew Member
Seasonal (Possibility of year-round)
Blank Industries, a leading ice melt manufacturer in the New England Area, is looking for experienced Full-Time Seasonal Loader operators and yard crew members to utilize a variety of machines used in processing and manufacturing. Ideal candidates for these roles would be reliable, self-driven, a fast learner, and has the ability to work alone, as well as on a team.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures.
- Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving performance.
- Ensure company equipment and material is maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner.
- Proactively communicate with team members and supervisors.
- Load and unload products and raw material from vehicles and trailers.
- Document and track inbound and outbound shipments as they occur.
- Maintain and clean equipment daily, perform pre-checks and post-checks.
- Operate loaders and other heavy equipment while in a warehouse and outside during all weather conditions.
- Help keep yard clean of any trash, debris, etc.
- Other Duties as assigned by management.
- Ability to drive Dump Trailer/Flatbed (not required but will push your application to the top.)
Requirements
- Current MA Hoisting License (Required)
- 3 years of heavy equipment operation (Preferred)
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. repeatedly and perform daily manual labor.
- Reliable: must be able to be on time and early ESPECIALLY in inclement weather due to job responsibilities, expectations, and daily business operation.
- Ability to work in any weather.
- Open Availability, willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Attend ongoing safety training and maintain and obtain certifications and licenses as needed.

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
