Job Purpose
The Landscape Enhancement Crew Leader is a hands-on position in charge of managing the day-to-day operations of all contracted work to be performed on an assigned jobsite. Areas of supervision include landscape installation, irrigation system installation, management of subcontractors and performing certain planning, administrative and regulatory functions. The site supervisor will read job plans and specifications and install jobs consistent with those specifications and Bland Landscaping Company criteria.
Responsibilities
Included but Not Limited to the following:
- Supervise and train installation crews on all aspects of installation services including promoting safety.
- Execute the contracted scope of installation projects.
- Read and execute job plans per specification for the contracted scope.
- Install plantings, lawns, irrigation, and hardscapes.
- Digging, tilling, planting, raking, watering, and clean-up of landscapes
- Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks.
- Bagged and Bulk Material handling
- Schedule and monitor daily work assignments.
- Plan, coordinate, and collect equipment and materials each day.
- Perform and participate in crew and department general and safety meetings.
- Submit daily BOSS Mobile Timesheet
- Administrative Paperwork
- Truck and Trailer standardization and cleanliness
- Use of technology for communication
- Communicate daily with Production Manager on progress and planning.
- Daily start up and shut down procedures.

- Safe driving of company-owned vehicles (with or without trailers)
- Ability to adjust irrigation controllers and basic knowledge of irrigation components.
- Maintain on-site relations and communications with clients, contractors and subcontractors.
- Safe operation and maintenance of equipment
Pay/Benefits Package
- $20 - $25 Hourly

Required Skills
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
- Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to work around bees, poison ivy, pollen, thorns and other environmental risks
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must wear sturdy shoes, company uniforms, and assigned PPE
- Must present yourself in a professional, polite manner
- Must practice safety with chemicals and equipment
- Must wear company-provided eye and ear protection as required
- Must have valid FL Driver's license and maintain a good driving record (CDL preferred)
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be willing to obtain FL Pesticide applicators license
- Must have good communication skills and ability to motivate others
- Must comply with Bland's policies and procedures
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
