What are the responsibilities and job description for the 911 Dispatcher position at Blanco County Sheriff?
The Blanco County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for a Telecommunications Officer. This is a Part-time position with full benefits. 12 hr shifts ( 6a to 6p and 6p to 6a) . Starting pay for this position is $37.00 hourly rate. Experience in the law enforcement field is preferred but not mandatory. This position is the epicenter of the department responsible for coordinating law enforcement, fire, and EMS services to Blanco County’s citizens and visitors through the collection and dissemination of emergency and non-emergency information in a timely and accurate manner. Must be able to multi-task and have at least moderate computer skills to keep up with an ever-changing environment.
Must possess a current Tecole telecomunicator license.
Detention license will be needed within one year of employment.
