Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Site Supervisor - Construction to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-standard software. This role involves supervising teams, ensuring safety compliance, managing project schedules, and maintaining quality standards to deliver successful project outcomes.
Duties
- Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow and communication.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Bluebeam for project scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide on-site work.
- Monitor quality control measures and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other safety regulations.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and assist in construction estimating processes.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues related to safety or quality and implement corrective actions.
- Supervise subcontractors and construction personnel, providing leadership and ensuring productivity.
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, changes in scope, and safety incidents.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising construction sites.
- Extensive knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Primavera.
- Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
- Supervising experience with a track record of managing teams effectively on large-scale projects.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols specific to construction sites.
- Hands-on experience with construction site operations including quality control procedures.
